Big Chemistry Robotlab Nijmegen The revolution of self-thinking molecular systems

Jiantao Zhao received both his Bachelor’s and Ph.D. degrees in Chemistry from Tsinghua University. During his Ph.D., he developed a class of reversible molecular linkages based on radical-mediated click-clip reactions, demonstrating their potential in the construction and manipulation of dynamic materials. In 2026, he joined the Big Chemistry consortium as a postdoctoral researcher at Radboud University, Nijmegen. His current research interests lie in harnessing AI agents and automation to develop peptide-based catalysts and dynamic materials, especially focusing on the emergent behaviors of binary peptide mixtures.
